Imagine that you could enter or climb this well-known monument. It has been done before - see below ...

Rainy day. We didn't dare to go out on the platform (at the feet of the sculpture) because lightning was hitting the area.

There are stairs leading into the hollow statue, but the door is locked.

In the museum you can see that the statue is really hollow and that you can climb all the way into the head. But it's only an urban legend that people have fallen down through the nostrils. There are no opening inside the statue.

But during construction, and during the restoration after WWII (it was a welcome target for allied aircraft) people have climbed the outside.
